An official reception in her honor was held on Tuesday, at the Shore Club, entitled ‘A Night with the Queens,” and featured all past Miss Turks and Caicos Islands.
Grant, 23, snared the title ahead of Ashlea Smith, representing The Cayman Islands and the Jamaican standard-bearer, Gernice Haynes. The contest was held on October 20, 2020, with the organizers announcing the winners on November 28.
Grant’s mom, Sharlene Grant, a past Miss Turks and Caicos, was also in attendance. The senior Grant reigned between 1994 and 1995. She entered the Miss Universe Pageant in 1995.
Grant, who is currently studying in the UK, is scheduled to spend a week in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
