What is The People’s Champion?

At the 2026 Grand Final, the finalist who earns the most votes from the public will be crowned The People’s Champion.

This title isn’t just about impressing the judges, it’s about capturing the hearts of supporters far and wide. It celebrates the power of community, the bond between our contestants and their fans, and the importance of every single vote.

The Winner’s Reward

The winning finalist will be honoured with:

A “The People’s Champion” crown
An elegant sash symbolising the public’s adoration
A luxurious gift basket overflowing with premium Design Essentials products.
The crowned People's Champion and the crowned Miss Caribbean UK Queen will both represent Design Essentials at product launches and business events.

Bykisa is a former SEMH Behavioural Assistant, currently working in creative design in IT, proudly embraces her Caribbean heritage with grace, authenticity, and purpose. Passionate about community, culture, and creativity, she believes strongly in the power of resilience, self-expression, and making a meaningful impact wherever she goes.

As a proud Montserratian woman living in the UK, Bykisa enjoys bringing people together and celebrating the richness of Caribbean culture while remaining true to herself and the values that shape her journey.

Her warm spirit, strength of character, and commitment to uplifting others make her a wonderful ambassador for Montserrat and an inspiring role model to young women within the Caribbean community.

Elyse is a vibrant and authentic young woman whose warm personality and creative spirit shine through in everything she does. With a love for reading, film, and Caribbean cuisine, she enjoys expressing her creativity through cooking traditional dishes including saltfish fritters and brown stew chicken dishes that keep her deeply connected to her heritage.

A true lover of Soca music, Elyse embraces the rhythm, energy, and culture of the Caribbean wholeheartedly, carrying her confidence and magnetic presence wherever she goes.

Proudly representing Dominica, Elyse hopes to inspire others to embrace their individuality, remain connected to their roots, and celebrate the beauty of Caribbean culture unapologetically.

Meet Orinthia Lloyd, one of the inspiring young women competing for the Miss Caribbean UK 2026 crown at this year’s Grand Finale.

Orinthia is a Fashion Management and Marketing student, model, hairstylist, and makeup artist whose passion for fashion, beauty, music, and culture influences every part of her journey.

With a love for artistic expression and storytelling, she uses creativity as a way to uplift, connect, and inspire others. She believes creativity can be a powerful tool for confidence, healing, and self-expression.

Proudly representing Montserrat, Orinthia is deeply devoted to encouraging young women, especially young Black girls, to embrace their individuality, be confident in their natural beauty, and take pride in who they are. Through hairstyling, fashion, and creative work, she hopes to build lasting, sustainable spaces that encourage confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Her goal is to combine beauty, fashion, and culture to positively impact her community and inspire young people to dream beyond limitations. She also hopes to create spaces where young Black women and girls feel represented not only in beauty spaces, but within leadership, creativity, and business too.

Orinthia is committed to giving back to her community, having volunteered with organisations and events including Sue Ryder, The Shortcut series production, photoshoots, and runway shows, always bringing positivity, teamwork, and dedication wherever she goes.

Known for her generosity, elegance, and warm spirit, Orinthia hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams fearlessly while staying connected to their roots and united through the Diaspora. She is keen on increasing representation for young Black people within the fashion and beauty industries and aims to continue creating opportunities that empower and uplift others.

Proudly embracing both her Jamaican and Kittitian heritage, Senai carries the strength, vibrancy, and warmth of Caribbean culture into every aspect of her life.
Her dedication to personal growth, community, and uplifting those around her reflects the qualities of a true role model and ambassador for Jamaica.
